Monterey Pop 50th anniversary concert to celebrate Summer of Love (SF Gate)

The Monterey International Pop Festival is getting a revival for its 50th anniversary, with Berkeley promotion company Another Planet Entertainment planning a major music event from June 16-18 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds — the same days and site of the three-day concert in 1967 that was an integral musical moment during the Summer of Love.
